With PKF and PKF LittleJohn, the EEA is working with select financial officers of the hospitality industry to promote consistency in financial ESG metrics and to steer the industry’s input to SASB, ISSB and IFRS global financial reporting standards.
Adam Maclennan is a hospitality veteran with over 25 years of experience in hospitality management and consulting. He joined the PKF hospitality group in 2014 to head the UK & Ireland consulting practice based in London and to manage assignments in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Adam has led feasibility, valuation, litigation support, research, operator search and general advisory assignments for public and private investors, developers, and operators in the hospitality sector and has an extensive international network in the industry.
Before joining the PKF hospitality group in London, Adam worked with PKF Consulting USA in Atlanta from 2008 to 2014 during which time he was responsible for valuing and analysing the feasibility of several hundred proposed and existing transient and extended-stay hotels, conference centres, and mixed-use hospitality developments with a total value of more than US$2 billion. Adam has a Master of Management degree in Hospitality from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and a Masters’ in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh.
Adam is a Partner of the PKF hospitality Group, a board member of the London chapter of the Cornell Hotel Society, a member of the Hotel Property Network, and a regular participant in the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research’s Sustainability Roundtable and other sustainability and hospitality conferences. Adam is passionate about helping hoteliers to reduce their business’ impact on the environment, and in supporting a hospitality industry to be a positive influence on their communities and the environment.
Tim is a chartered surveyor with approximately 30 years experience advising hotel owners, operators and investors. He has worked in over 65 countries worldwide with extensive experience in Africa, where he lived for almost 5-years.
Tim is currently employed as head of business development for Europe and Africa for Valor Hospitality Partners, a third party management company with over 80 hotels under management across the globe.
