Hadrian is responsible for the Legal Department of the Kempinski corporate group globally. He advises executives, senior management and the Management Board on a wide range of legal and compliance matters, and acts as the key lawyer/legal advisor on all significant business transactions.
Hadrian oversees and carries out company secretariat, including advice to the Supervisory Board / Board of Directors, directorships, and organisation of board and committee meetings.
In addition, he contributes to our company’s reputation, compliance and corporate governance efforts.
Hadrian joined Kempinski in 2012, and soon thereafter took over the management of the in-house Legal Department, establishing it as a key business partner. Prior to joining Kempinski Hotels, Hadrian worked in the in-house Legal Department of Hilton Hotels where he gained valuable experience in real-estate and hotel operating agreements.
A British national, Hadrian holds a LLB in English and European Laws (Hons) from the University of Essex, a LLM in European Business Law (Hons) from the Pallas Consortium of Universities, and the LPC from the College of Law London (Moorgate). Hadrian qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer in 2012, and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2017.
With a true passion for luxury, hospitality and sustainability, Hadrian also chairs the Kempinski group’s Sustainability Committee. Additionally, Hadrian is on the Advisory Board of the Luxury Law Alliance, and is a member of the Energy and Environment Alliance’s General Counsels Committee.
